Galaxy Class
[01] Operational Role & Mission Profile
The crown jewel of Starfleet exploration during the 2360s. Designed for autonomous 7-year deep space assignments with complete families and diplomatic delegations aboard. Capable of saucer separation during combat.
TACTICAL PROFILE & DEFENSIVE SYSTEMS:
12 Type-X collocated phaser emitter arrays (250 TeraWatt peak beam yield); 2 rapid-fire photon torpedo tubes with 250 torpedo complement; multilayer regenerative thermal/graviton shields.
[02] Warp Core & Propulsion Architecture
Class 10 Matter/Antimatter Reaction Assembly (M/ARA). Deuterium & Antideuterium injection with continuous dilithium articulation. Reactor output: 1,200 TeraWatts.
SUBLIGHT IMPULSE PROPULSION:
Dual high-efficiency magnetohydrodynamic impulse drives on primary saucer and secondary engineering hull (0.25c maximum safe impulse).
[03] Notable Vessels of this Class
The fifth starship to bear the name Enterprise. Served as the Federation flagship for 7 years (2364–2371). Made First Contact with the Borg, the Q Continuum, the Ferengi, and dozens of civilizations.
